It’s AMAZING what Frank Frazetta can do with lines on paper. People often go on about what a tragedy it was that he did relatively little comics work, but I think single images are more his strong suit. His panel by panel storytelling is often a lot less accomplished than the art itself. Here is some really nice art he did for an aborted comics story.
