This sign is next to the photo supply sign (below). You can see both signs in context here; they are on a newly exposed wall which is hidden under scaffolding. The explanation is in the previous post and a short rant is below in the Go Figure post from 10/22.

Recently the business on the ground floor of our building changed. So the plastic deli signs were torn off and some history that was hidden behind plastic saw light again.  Click on the image, you can even see some of the surviving gold leaf. My neighbor the amazing photographer Matt Petosa took this.

My friend Paul came back from visiting his wife’s family up in Iceland. He told me about it. The family is fine and they had a nice visit. But some of the other stuff he mentioned was a bit of a shock.

I was delighted to find out that my Solzhenitsyn comic (see previous post) was cited by one of the Isotope Award judges, Johanna Draper Carlson as a “comic worth reading”, in the “My Top Five” section of her column.
